FOREWORD - PLEASE READ FIRST
Background
Our website nor our articles are not in any way intended to be or regarded as absolutes - we merely offer our opinions and views which are the result of years of experience as martial artists and as self defense instructors. We also speak as women, in truth as small Chinese women who were originally bred to be docile and polite, like most other women of this era. We also have formed our own opinions after years of struggle in a world that does not favour women who have strong minds and strong bodies, and after having survived a number of physical attacks on the street.
Why we have this space
We feel that it is important to have some dialogue on certain sensitive topics, because we believe that out of peaceful discussion and collective thought come good, productive things. Please treat this space as your own.
We are considering putting up a discussion board for free dialogue and interaction, however in the meantime we welcome your thoughts and would be glad to address any questions or issues that you may have -- simply fill out our contact form. Please be aware of the following guidelines that we strictly adhere to if you are considering submitting any questions or material.
Guidelines for submission and questions
- We reserve the right not to address e-mails or requests if we deem
them unsuitable for our website. After all, this is our space
- legitimate requests for information or legitimate viewpoints
(yes, even those contrary to our own) will be taken seriously,
but we will absolutely not respond to spurious flamers. If
you want to express your opinion and do not see us post it
up here, you are free to do it on your own website.
- We will not accept submissions from anonymous or false identities.
However, we will absolutely respect your
request for anonymity if you do not want your name on this
website - just let us know.
- Questions or issues that are "off topic" (not self defense related) may or may not be addressed here. We reserve the right to decide what is relevant to discussion or not.
